Engine back in ’65 Ford Zodiac Mk3 – Full Restoration

’65 Ford Zodiac Mk3 enters the last stages of the full restoration with the rebuilt engine slotting back into the fully restored and detailed bay. Everything has gone very smoothly so far which is always a good sign.

We were asked to undertake the project after our customer finally removed the dust-cover after a 22 year garage lay-up! The Zodiac has required work on nearly every aspect of the body and mechanicals and will need a complete refurbishment and re-trim of the interior.

The rest of the running gear will follow in the coming weeks then it’s onto rest of the fit-out and trimming.

63 Mini Cooper Restoration Progressing Well

One customer has given us a wonderful opportunity to deliver a truly inspiring restoration – a one owner 63 Mini Cooper from the ground up.

It’s not often we get to bring a car back to original state for the first buyer and still current owner. Lots of fond memories to restore as part of the job.

After stripping out, removal of engine, mechanicals, electrics and metal that’s past it’s prime, we progressed very well.

Unfortunately, originality will be compromised as almost all body panels, subframes and steel structural needed replacing bar the roof. We’ve had the good fortune to have a budget that allows us to use all new panels and parts from Heritage and we’re nearing completion of major structural work.

Next stage, fill and paint.
